We are looking for full-time permanent Machinists to join our team and help us deliver the high standards of ship maintenance and repair we pride ourselves on. As a Machinist with us, you'll use a range of machining tools to accurately manufacture ship components and parts.

Previous experience as a Machinist or in a similar role in a manufacturing, industrial or engineering environment would be great, we are also keen to hear from people who are eager to learn and be trained to our standards of work.

**Who we are**:
A&P Falmouth is one of the largest ship-repair facilities in the UK, we provide a complete range of marine repair services tanks to our on-site engineering, electrical, paint and fabrication workshops.

**What you will do**:

- Set up and operate machine tools such as lathes, milling machines and vertical and horizontal boring machines to manufacture ship components and parts.
- Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications to determine machining requirements.
- Machine parts to precise tolerances and specifications using appropriate tools, techniques and materials.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards.

**What we are looking for**:

- You'll have experience as a Machinist or in a similar role in a manufacturing, industrial or engineering environment or will be eager to learn and be trained to our standards of work.
- You'll be able to interpret and understand technical drawings.
- You'll be able to demonstrate excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- You'll be absolutely committed to ensuring health and safety in your work, we all work safe and go home safe.
- You'll have excellent teamwork and communication skills, vital for success in the projects that we deliver.
