We are looking to appoint 3 Team Leaders for our residential children's home in Gloucester.

This is an exciting role for an experienced Team Leader to join a company who are currently going through a time of growth and development.

To be successful in this role you must;
- Be a car driver and be willing to obtain business insurance
- Have experience of working within a children's home
- Have knowledge of the children's home Regulation's and guidance
- Hold a QCF Level 3 in relation working with children, young people and their families
- Have at least two years experience of working with children and young people
- Be dedicated to providing outstanding care With this role you will become part of a great provider with ample opportunity to grow and develop

**The main tasks**:
To support the management of the home and take the lead on shifts.

To work in accordance with Imagines’ values as explained in our statement of Purpose,

To ensure that children and young people we support are treated with respect, dignity, and equality

To safeguard and promote the welfare of the children and young people we support.

To lead on and create all young people’s placement plans and risk assessments and ensure that these are well written, identify current needs, are updated regularly, and that the team understands and follow them.

To act as and/or oversee Key worker arrangements for named young people, to oversee the co-ordination of their plans and to improve the quality of their life.

To act as the lead person for the overall co-ordination of support where required.

To ensure that all matters relating to health and safety checks and audits for the house and relevant H&S staff training

To promote equality of opportunity, a respect for diversity and anti-oppressive practice.

Be willing to participate in an on call rota

Role

- Be able to work a 24hr shift with a sleep in
- Must have the ability to work effectively in a team environment and alone
- Must be committed to the safeguarding of children and young people
- Must be willing to promote an excellent quality of support to children and young people.
- Must be willing to contribute to a nurturing and homely environment.
- Must be able to participate in supporting young people with daily tasks. Such as budgeting, shopping, cooking, cleaning, and activities.
- Must be able to work in partnership with other agencies. Such as, social workers, youth support workers.
- Must be able to record and report daily activities and escalate concerns appropriately
- Must be able to adhere to policies and procedures
- Must have a full driving licence and be willing to access drivers business insurance

**Working Patterns**

We are currently looking to recruit 3 Full time Team Leaders

Full time hours - 33 hrs contracted (plus sleep in's)

Part time hours - 16.5 hrs contracted (plus sleep in's)

The primary role will be to work in the residential home on a rota basis. The home is based in Gloucester. The hours include:
1 x 24 hr shifts 10:00am -0:00 - 06:00 am (sleep in) 06:00am-10:30am - finish shift (part time)

2 x 24 hr shifts 10:00am -0:00 - 06:00 am (sleep in) 06:00am-10:30am - finish shift (full time)

3 x 24 hr shifts 10:00am -0:00 - 06:00 am (sleep in) 06:00am-10:30am - finish shift (full time)

These shifts will include evenings and weekends on a rota basis. Night shift allowance paid (23:00-07:00am).
