Precast Concrete Foreman

Cummins Mellor are looking for Precast Concrete Foreman to work for an independent UK manufacturer of high quality, cost effective precast concrete products specifically developed to meet the needs of dairy farmers.

In role is to work as a hands on foreman in the construction of precast concrete products, must be able to work with wood metal and/or concrete materials using a variety of hand and power tools.

**Duties may include**:

- Train new employees & assign duties to team
- Organize team and ensure quality work with attention to detail
- Recommended ongoing procedure changes to ensure Wolfenden concrete produces quality products
- Schedule manpower to provide most efficient casting hours
- Verify team members arrive and leave on time daily
- Be able to read plans sketches and follow verbal instructions
- Must be able to measure distances and be able to set moulds up as required
- Conduct daily and weekly safety walkthrough to highlight and pinpoint and safety issues and ensure team are following safe working procedures.
- Nature and mentor team - suggest ongoing training needs where necessary (but also must be able to discipline staff when needs arise)
- Be able to liaise with internal office staff and delivery drivers. (Be point of contract)
- Be able to using computer
- Be able to using forklift and crane
- Monitor stock levels and raw materials and re-order when needed.
- Ensure team Pre-Picks & Loads Wagons for Dispatch
- Promote & Maintain good housekeeping
- Check moulds and machine condition (issues report to office or engineer)
- Create and follows process
- Good Communication skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £12.00-£14.00 per hour
