**Summary of the role**:
As an International Education Specialist, you will be responsible for encompassing the brand codes as an authentic, experienced company member. You will represent the brand at education conferences and events with a wide variety of audiences, across Europe, Middle East and Africa. You will need to be confident in coaching our international educations teams on all aspects of Dermalogica to support growth across the markets.

Through the medium of education, you will positively strengthen how our expertise is highlighted on E-commerce across the EMEA channel, as well as through the opportunities with Clear start. You will work closely with the Digital Channel Specialist and 3PI account manager to support markets with education and clear start. This role requires you to be confident in all aspects of digital education and support the markets with offering a multi-modal learning approach.

**Key responsibilities**

To be successful in your role, you should be able to perform each essential responsibility to a satisfactory level. Each of these points are characteristic of the role but is not limited to what may be required during your time in this position:

- Shares branded Dermalogica education one-on-one, live audiences or via digital platforms
- Travel internationally conducting both Dermalogica training, events and IDI seminars
- Maintain a thorough knowledge and understanding of all Dermalogica products, treatments, concepts and of the skin care industry at large.
- Deliver presentations, Dermalogica Workshops and Dermalogica Training Programmes as required, both internally and externally.
- Lead by example and display a corporate professional approach to all educational duties.
- Support the execution of training for various channels as required
- Support and develop international education teams, through coaching and providing content to our markets.
- Confidently advise our distributor markets on digital multi-modal approach to learning
- Teach the Dermalogica brand curriculum to stay connected with all aspects of the education offered to various channels.
- Responsible for ensuring any education provided to the E-Commerce channel is relevant to their needs.
- Proactively research trends, developments and requirements within the digital channel.

**Person specification**

As an International Education Specialist, you will need to have excellent communication skills with an adaptable attitude to build rapport and strong professional relationships. You need to have a high level of skin therapy skills with a passion for skin health and genuine interest in people. You will need to be flexible, open-minded, self-motivated and organised. Always show a positive approach to your work and be results orientated. This role requires an individual who is very confident with technology, social media, filming content and editing. You need to be a team player who can work collaboratively and contribute to department success. It is important that you love travel and culture and can work well under pressure, always conducting yourself with passion and integrity. It is also important that you are committed to upholding excellent brand standards and are passionate about education's ability to drive success. You creatively look for ways to provide education to your specific channel and constantly re-evaluate how to improve and innovate our approach.

**Experience and Skills Required**:

- Senior Educator experience preferred.
- Professional and engaging on camera.
- Proficient IT skill set.
- Video editing experience preferred.
- A self-motivated and reliable, independent worker with a drive and initiative to succeed in a busy environment with constantly changing priorities.
- Clear and precise written and verbal communication skills.
- The capacity to creatively solve problems effectively.
- Understand the importance of the E-commerce channel.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills to effectively manage larger projects alongside day-to-day duties.
