Paediatric Dietitian

We are looking for a motivated Dietitian with an interest in paediatrics to join the paediatric team within Buckinghamshire Healthcare Trust. This is a permanent position, 3 days per week (22.5hours/week) and is a band 5 post with the opportunity to develop through a competency programme to Band 6, working towards developing a broad knowledge of all general paediatric nutritional problems.

The paediatric team comprises of 5 other Paediatric Dietitians and strong administrative support. We are a very supportive team, have regular team meetings and CPD sessions/opportunities and have good links with surrounding Trusts and paediatric teams.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop dietetic skills in paediatrics, work with MDT colleagues in a variety of settings and contribute to service development and innovation. The post holder will cover general out-patient clinics, have an in-patient caseload and the opportunity to shadow and develop clinical skills in more specialist areas such as Home enteral feeding and patient groups covering cows' milk-protein allergy.
