QC Laboratory Analyst

£10 - £13 per hour plus shift allowance

Rotating shifts, 8.30am
- 2.30pm/ 1pm-9pm

Leeds

6 month Contract

Cpl Life Sciences are partnering with a global environmental company that provides solutions and services across the world, recruiting for a QC Analyst to support in their laboratory in Leeds. The main purpose of the QC Analyst is provide analytical testing,quality control and quality assurance support within the laboratory.

Key Responsibilities;
- Sampling, testing and releasing of raw materials
- Testing of packaging and bulk samples, performing analysis within the packaging department
- Investigating and reporting deviations
- Managing CAPAs
- Managing laboratory QC documents, specifications, methods and production
- Issuing labels to production and control of label stocks
- QC sample checks on packed products
- Performing routing monitoring of water system, TOC, conductivity, chemical testing and microbiological sampling both on purified and WFI systems
- Ensuring the lab is compliant with GLP/ GMP

Experience;
- Educated to a degree level within Scientific, chemistry desirable
- Minimum one year experience in an analytical laboratory
- Analytical techniques experience including HPLC, FT-IR
