We are looking to hire an **Activity Leader** to cover our Hertfordshire and London region during term time to join our fun and exciting company. We run **Breakfast**, **Lunch** and **After-school** **Clubs** during term time and Holiday camps during all school breaks.

At **Next Thing Education**, we are educators, programmers, inventors and creators. The company provides schools with fun and exciting Tech, Art, Lego, Videography and Photography sessions using the latest and greatest technology. We aim to take people with a passion for technology and put that passion to great use - teaching children something new and exciting. From virtual reality, drones, to pretty much anything with a computer inside, we use cutting edge technology that not only encourages learning but inspires children to become **STEM** leaders. Involving students and creating an unforgettable learning experience is at the heart of what we do.

We are **NOT** looking for a technology genius as all full training will be provided along with detailed lesson plans, we are looking for someone who has a passion for working with children. We provide full paid training, so working with us is also a great opportunity to learn more about Digital Technology within education and teaching.

As a Activity Leader, you will be required to travel to Primary schools and take the lead delivering sessions in a fun and engaging format. There will be a variety of interesting content used to keep feeding the children engaged and excited to learn. Be part of something amazing

**Responsibilities**:

- Travelling to schools no further than 45 mins from your home post code area for clubs or camps
- Travelling to our head office in Berkhamsted every 6 weeks for meetings and logistics
- Preparing in advance to make sure you are confident with the technology used for each lesson
- Delivering sessions to primary school students aged between 5-11 years
- Taking ownership of equipment and preparing for your clubs efficiently
- Helping and supporting students
- Helping with the management of Computers, iPads, Gadgets and Gizmos
- Participating in Sales & Marketing tasks to maintain the highest number of students for clubs and camps
- Last but not least, ensuring all the children have had a fun fuelled learning experience.

**Requirements**:

- As you will be required to work with children, you must have no criminal convictions as an Enhanced DBS check and certificate is required in order to upkeep the legal safeguarding requirements for schools
- A clean driving licence and a reliable car
