We are now recruiting for an **Internal Sales Co-ordinator** to join our growing team.

This position requires a sales-focused individual who will be required to provide sales and administration support to an assigned Customer Account Manager and build relationships with account customers to develop and enhance sales in areas of responsibility.

**About The Role**

**Key Tasks and Responsibilities**:

- Provide Customer Account Manager with sales administration support for customers in sales area of responsibility:

- Process and manage sales orders directly from customer and Customer Account Manager
- Process quotation requests directly from customer and Customer Account Manager ensuring they are completed in line with Department process requirements
- Set up site accounts as required ensuring agreed rates are applied to customers trade agreement
- Organise samples as requested from customer and Customer Account Manager
- Investigate credit requests and when required put corrective action in place ensuring customers trade agreement is correct for further order processing
- Process customer complaints on complaints system and review monthly outstanding complaints with Customer Account Manager
- Monthly filing of all Tenders, Quotations and Confirmed Rates
- Review Trade Agreements for all customers in area of responsibility annually with Customer Account Manager and maintain accuracy of agreed pricing
- Complete Department Reporting requirements within requested timeframe
- Monthly Quote follow-up : review and update status of all quotations processed in area of responsibility with Customer Account Manager
- Quarterly review and clear down of all open Sales Orders on system
- General housekeeping of Business Relations and Contacts within CRM
- Co-operation with management and other staff in a pleasant and professional manner to ensure efficient promotion and running of the business
- Ensuring and maintaining utmost confidentiality of information
- Other duties as required by the commensurate with the role, within your capabilities and as requested by your Manager

**Required Criteria**
- A minimum of 5 GCSE’s (or equivalent) at Grade C or above Including English and Maths
- At least 1 years experience working in a busy sales/customer service office
- Proficient in MS Office with a good working knowledge of MS Excel and Word
- Excellent and confident telephone manner
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload
- Must deal with customers in a professional and confident manner
- Competent in MS Office and data input.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Team player Professional acumen Ability to multi-task
- Good time keeper Flexible to work overtime to meet the needs of the business

**Desired Criteria**
- Previous experience working in the construction industry and/or building products knowledge
- Experience of working with Microsoft AX (Sales Ledger & CRM)
