Poling Team

JN Civils Ltd is a civil engineering company providing utilities infrastructure for Gas, Water, Telecoms and Electric to leaders in the utilities sector. Due to expansion, an exciting opportunity has arisen to join our ever-growing team of professionals within the Company. The role is for an experienced Poling Team, or Individual Operatives who are able to work in the North West based out of our Blackpool office.

**Experience**:

- Proven track record of Installation and removal of poles, including the dressing of new poles
- Safe excavation works use of CAT and Genny
- Replacing/renewing existing drop-wires
- Operate Pole Erection Unit in line with H&S legislation
- Cable Jointing
- Replacing/renewing block and tails
- Ensuring all works are completed in accordance with Service Level Agreements
- Undertaking works in accordance with Health and Safety legislation, company and client Health and Safety standards
- Operate MEWP and work at heights on telegraph poles (recognised qualification)

**The ideal person for this role will hold the relevant certifications**:

- NRSWA Street Works (full ops)
- HGV Licence
- SA001 Safety Overhead.
- SA002 Safety Underground.
- SA006 Safe Working in Civils
- PIA Poling Course (O002, 03 04, 05, 06)
- IPAF 1B

Salary is based upon role within the gang and experience.

**Salary**: £120.00-£150.00 per day

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
