**Agriculture Specialist (Grain)**

NSF are a global leader in testing, inspection, and certification services. Our Agriculture team operate a number of plant and animal-based assurance schemes. We audit and certify that farms meet scheme owner standards.

We are looking for an **Agriculture Specialist (Grain)**, who will be responsible for the day to day running of the GAFTA (Grain And Feed Trade Association) scheme. This is a process driven role and will involve working with both internal and external stakeholders. Daily tasks can include customer relations, working with the internal team to troubleshoot when situations arise, planning and scheduling audits with a global reach, monitoring scheme KPI’s and implementing changes as required.
- A General understanding of the global grain industry
- Ability to make difficult decisions, approaching them in a fair and logical way
- Problem solving skills, establishing root causes and what actions are required to prevent recurring issues
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, highly motivated and enthusiastic
- Ability to motivate and bring team together to work towards common goals
- Ability to organise and prioritise the workloads of self and team
- Willingness and ability to travel for client management purposes where required
- HACCP level 2 (preferred but not essential)
- Knowledge of Quality Management Systems
- An understanding of the operation of third party Certification Schemes within the Agricultural sectors
- Have Lead Auditor ISO22000/9001 (preferred not essential)
