**Drivers Mate**

**Salary: £10.82 per hour**

**The Role**:

- Supporting our HGV drivers in customer deliveries across the UK
- Completing deliveries of goods to customers, loading and unloading
- Delivering excellent customer service with a positive can-do attitude
- Safely secure items in the delivery vehicle to prevent damage during transit
- Navigate and follow directions provided by the delivery driver to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
- There is a significant amount of hand-balling in the role, so applicants must be able to undertake daily heavy lifting with manual handling training
- Occasional overnight stays may be required depending on the drop
- Completing necessary delivery paperwork or documentation related to deliveries
- Supporting in the warehouse with other adhoc duties as and when required for the needs of the business
- Previous experience in a similar role as a driver's mate, warehouse worker, or delivery assistant is preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks throughout the workday
- Reliable and punctual, as this role is a crucial part of the delivery service to our customers so must be undertaken in a timely manner.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with the delivery driver, customers, and other team members
- Helpful and flexible to get the job done

**Salary**: £10.82 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 45 per week
