Smart Manufacturing Solutions are recruiting for a Quality Inspector in Stockton on Tees.
Reporting directly to the Quality Engineer the Quality Inspector is responsible for the following
- Provide End-of-Line quality checks against customer drawing to confirm the conformity of all jobs, utilising various inspection methods / techniques.
- Completion of daily process audits and random process inspections, challenging process failures and/or weaknesses before resolving any such issues.
- Provide technical support to production inorder to maintain production and customer requirements and standards
- Provide support in Goods-in inspection
- Support in the management of the calibration system, including calibration of inspection equipment
- Ensure that team members follow defined standard operations and comply with quality requirements
- Provide clear & concise communication with Production department and all other support groups.
- Carry out first off checks and end of line checks as required
- Ensure full adherence to 5S (Sort, Set In Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) practices at all times, carrying out a weekly review of your area via a 5S audit
- Consistently promote high standards through personal example and roll out through the team so that each member of the team understands the standards and behaviours expected of them
- Identify opportunities for business improvements within the organisation
- Any ad-hoc duties as required from time to time by the Quality Engineer or other members of the management team

**Shifts**: Day and back shift

**Salary**: From £13.41 per hour

- Stockton-On-Tees, TS20 2BH: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Quality Control Inspectors: 1 year (preferred)
