Domestic Abuse Coordinator

Location - County Hall North Horsham

Working arrangements - In the office 3 days and home 2 days Job description

You will undertake administration work for the team who support clients and their families.

You will be organised, efficient and be able to work under your own initiative and respond to requests as needed.

You will work within a multi-agency setting to support colleagues and partner agencies to provide the best possible service to victims.

You will be responsible for providing high quality support including uploading referrals, support to MARAC processes and minute taking.

You will be proactive in taking forward tasks on a demand basis.

Working within a framework, you will be comfortable making informed decisions and demonstrating initiative to respond to unanticipated problems and complex situations in the delivery of the service to senior officers, internal clients, external partners/ organisations and the general public.

You will have good written and verbal communication skills to work effectively with both internal and external partners.

Being both adaptable and flexible, you will enjoy the challenge this role will give you to meet service needs and will be able to participate in the future planning of the service and new ways of working positively and effectively.

3 years exp as a Domestic Abuse Coordinator preffered
