Role: Marina Administrator

Location: Ipswich, East Anglia

As ABP continue the journey of investing in, and developing Ipswich Beacon Marina which forms as part of the Beacon Marina Collection, we are looking to recruit an additional Marina Administrator to join our small and dedicated team. We are looking for someone to assist in ensuring we offer our leisure and commercial customers an excellent experience during their stay with us.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Invoicing all marina users for berthing, boat yard services, fuel and gas and ensuring the inhouse berthing system is kept up to date
- Organising events for berth holders and supporting the events with the team
- Correspond with sailing clubs who are visiting the marina and arrange berthing requirements alongside the Marina Supervisors guidance
- Assist in ensuring the social media page is kept up to date and displaying accurate information
- Assist the Marina Manager in organising meetings and scheduling appointments
- Complete marina berth checks and engage with members of the public
- Work closely with marina tenants to ensure their requirements and expectations are met

**Skills & Requirements**

**Essential**
- Excellent communication skills
- Be able to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks, and working outside of normal working hours if required
- Be able to work within a small team
- Confidence in the Microsoft package at basic level (training can be provided)
- Have a good understanding of safety in a workplace

**Ideal**
- An interest in the marina environment or the desire to learn
- Experience of front of house and administration

The shift pattern for this role is structured from Monday to Friday, encompassing a standard workweek. However, it also includes a requirement for occasional weekend and bank holiday shifts, which are distributed among employees on a rotating basis. In total, the workload consists of 40 hours per week, maintaining a consistent daily schedule from 8:00 in the morning until 17:00 in the afternoon. To ensure a healthy work-life balance, there is a one-hour lunch break provided during the shift.

**Salary**: £26,300.00-£28,300.00 per year
