Bricklayer

You **MUST** have the following:

- _Relevant experience and qualifications in bricklaying_
- _A valid CSCS card_
- _UTR number_
- _public liability insurance_
- _Have a clean driving license and own vehicle._

Experience in the following:

- Utilize power tools and hand tools to cut and set bricks, blocks, or stone according to construction plans
- Read and interpret blueprints or work orders to determine specifications
- Build or repair walls, arches, fireplaces, chimneys, or other structures with brick, precast masonry panels, concrete block, and other masonry materials
- Mix specified amounts of sand, clay, mortar powder, and water to create mortar
- Align structures vertically and horizontally using levels
- Ensure that the structure is plumb and level
- Clean working areas and equipment after completing projects
- Proven experience as a Brick Mason or similar role
- Proficient in using power tools and hand tools for masonry work
- Knowledge of welding techniques for masonry work
- Familiarity with carpentry techniques for framing purposes
- Ability to work on roofs for chimney or wall repairs
- Strong understanding of different types of bricks and stones used in construction

**Salary**: £13.00-£20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

**Experience**:

- Bricklaying: 3 years (required)
- Masonry: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- CSCS (required)
- Driving Licence (required)

Ability to Commute:

- Pontypridd, Rhondda Cynon Taff (required)
