Experienced Full Time Drug and Alcohol Support

At Include ‘In’ Autism, we are committed to providing exceptional care and support to individuals who are struggling with drug and alcohol dependencies, while also dealing with complex challenges such as autism, learning disabilities, mental health issues, and challenging behaviours. We are currently seeking experienced Drug and Alcohol Support Workers to join our dedicated team. As a Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in helping our clients overcome their substance dependencies and navigate the challenges they face due to autism, learning disabilities, mental health issues, and challenging behaviours. This position requires English-speaking professionals who are resilient, compassionate, and unafraid to handle extreme situations.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Provide comprehensive support to individuals with drug and alcohol dependencies, autism, learning disabilities, mental health issues, and challenging behaviours.
- Engage with clients to encourage attendance at appointments, therapy sessions, and other essential activities.
- Demonstrate empathy, respect, and a non-condescending attitude towards clients at all times.
- Work within the principles of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Uphold the company's ethos and values, promoting a culture of dignity, respect, and compassion.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalised care plans.
- Attend training sessions and continuously develop your knowledge and skills to provide the highest level of support.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation as required by regulatory standards.
**Qualifications**:
- Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
- Full-time availability and flexibility to work varying shifts.
- Resilience and the ability to handle challenging and sometimes emotionally charged situations.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
- A forward-thinking approach to problem-solving and client care.
- Commitment to working within the principles of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS).
- Genuine compassion and a desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others.

**Salary**: £10.75 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
