**6 Month FTC, can be fully remote or hybrid if located in the London area**

**Salary £27 - £30k FTE +£3,000 London weighting (pro rata 25 hours pw)**

**Part Time: 25 Hours flexible across the week **Some evening and weekend work will be required. This role will be in call to the Helpline 50% of the time.

**Our client, a highly sensitive, independent advisory service is seeking a part time Helpline Coordinator for a six month FTC (with the potential to be extended) **To provide co-ordination and day to day support for the Helpline team and other related frontline services.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Work closely with the Service Manager to ensure the smooth running of the service.
- Manage the Helpline service roster to ensure full cover at all times, ensuring shift swaps are managed effectively.
- Compile and distribute the weekly update to client-facing volunteers at the end of each shift.
- Be on call to the Helpline and Accommodation Teams 50% of the time, sharing this responsibility with the Service Manager.
- Provide strategic and practical support for cases as and when required, most particularly those of a complex or unusual nature and/or involving vulnerable clients.
- Excellent customer service skills and previous experience of telephone work
- Excellent communication skills, non-judgemental and calm
- Able to maintain strict confidentiality
- Computer literate with good keyboard skills
- Polish or another European Language would be highly beneficial
- Previous experience of case working or on a helpline is essential
