- Despatch**2. JOB PURPOSE**:
**JOB FUNCTION**: 
- Forklift Truck driving.-  Computer input.**1**o** DUTIES**:

-  To load and unload vehicles as required.-  To prepare and store, in allocated area, all work to go to sub-contractors.-  To identify, book in/record all goods returned from sub-contractors.-  To move all work which requires Quality checks or Final Audits to QA Auditing area.-  To move all work which has had Quality checks or Final Audits to appropriate area (ie sub-contract area or Despatch warehouse).-  Maintain accurate records of work movement.-  Maintain quality procedures and liaising with QAD concerning Quality auditing requirements.-  Maintain safe working practices in accordance with Company rules and common sense.-  Maintain good housekeeping standards of all work in progress/in all stores areas/loading bay and approaches.-  Maintain departmental Continual Improvement commitments and contamination avoidance.-  To report any deterioration of plant, premises or equipment to his supervisor.**2**o** DUTIES**:

-  Daily removal of scrap components from collection area in Wire Stores to yard-based Scrap Metals skips. Monitoring, recording and reporting of scrap metals skip levels.-  Maintain cleanliness of the yard.-  Monitoring and reporting of all bund water levels.-  Monitoring and reporting of all waste streams levels.-  Periodic draining of 205 Ltr empty drums in preparation for removal by supplier.-  Preparation of waste streams in readiness for removal from site, including palletising, strapping, poly wrapping & identification.-  Periodic draining of Scrap Skip bunds as and when necessary to prevent environmental incident.**3**. KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED TO DO THE JOB**:
**QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED**:

-  Clean driving licence.-  Forklift truck qualification.-  Aisle Truck qualification (Nice to have - can be trained)-  Computer literacy.-  NVQ Level 2 or above.**SKILLS PREFERRED**:

-  Communication (Written & Oral).-  Use of Electrical Pallet Truck. - Forward planning.-  Computer literacy.-  Numeracy.**EXPERIENCE**:

-  Forklift truck (& Aisle Truck) driving.-  Use of weighing equipment.**SPECIAL ATTRIBUTES**:
