As Head of Governance you will lead the governance function to ensure Watmos complies with all relevant statutory and regulatory requirements and provides a robust framework to deliver annual assurance.

Your strong technical governance expertise and close attention to detail will be matched with a real passion for strengthening organisational and Board effectiveness.

**Job Purpose**

1. Act as Company Secretary for the Watmos Community Homes Group.

2. Lead the Governance function to ensure Watmos complies with all relevant statutory and regulatory requirements and provide a robust framework to deliver annual assurance.

3. Ensure the Governance Team works collaboratively across the business to deliver the desired outcomes set by the Board and Executive Team.

4. Work with the Group Board Chair to review and strengthen governance and Board effectiveness.

5. Work with the TMOs to strengthen governance and effectiveness.

6. Provide visible and consistent leadership on 'Values’ and 'Code of Conduct’ and act to rectify concerns.

7. Assist in the implementation of corporate strategies by ensuring that the Board's decisions and instructions are documented and monitored.

8. Manage Data Protection compliance and advise on legal requirements and best practice.

9. Support the Executive Director of Resources in compiling risk reports to Group Board and Audit and Assurance Committee.
