The roles and responsibilities of a receptionist are as follows:
- Serves visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately.
- Notifies company personnel of visitor arrival.
- Maintains telecommunications systems in a professional manner.
- Informs visitors by answering or referring enquiries.
- Directs visitors by maintaining employee and department directories.
- Operates telecommunication systems and stay updated with the latest technology.
- Keeps a safe and clean reception area.
- Supports continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and needs.
- Contributes to team effort.
- Assigning room keys to staff and clinics and ensuring keys are returned and accounted for.
- Directing patients to their appointment and handling appointment lists.

- Reporting building issues to our maintenance team.
- Filling out incident and accident reports when required
- Communication is key, making sure the Client, Operations manager, and senior receptionist are updated on all cases.
Receptionist Qualifications / skills:
- Previous experience as a receptionist or administrator.
- Professional telephone manner.
- Able to work under pressure in an ever-changing environment.
- Strong communication skills.
- Team Player.
- Good IT Skills and comfortable using Microsoft Office.
- Highly organised.
- Must have good verbal and written English.
