Nursery Manager, Senior staff and the Director.
- **Purpose of the Job**:_

Work as part of a team to maintain a high standard of care and ensuring the safety and well being of the children. Also to nurture the children to be independent learners, by providing an educational and supportive play environment that is inclusive.
- **Personal Specification**:_

Ÿ NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.

Ÿ Good, confident, communication skills.

Ÿ Excellent customers service skills.

Ÿ Able to self motivate when working alone.

Ÿ Able to work as part of a team and contribute to its development.
- **Main Duties**_

Ÿ Daily care of the children that promotes their feeling of wellbeing and independence.

Ÿ Plan and provide varied and stimulating activities in line with observations and interest of the children.

Ÿ Carrying out regular child assessments and observations and maintain child development records.

Ÿ General cleaning and sterilising of the toys, equipment and nursery buildings.

Ÿ Complete nursery documents and forms in line with company policies and procedures.

Ÿ Liaising with parents on a day to day basis and provide excellent customer service.

Ÿ Attending staff meetings, functions and training as part of continued professional development.

Ÿ Comply with all the company’s Health and Safety policies, risk assessments, COSHH and RIDDOR policies.

Ÿ Perform and meet targets set by yourself, the Management Team and Director.

Ÿ Be prepared to work flexibly within company hours to comply with ratios set by CIW.
- **Plus any additional duties to ensure the smooth running of the nursery and the business.**_

**Job Type**: Zero hours contract

Pay: From £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 40 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
