**Legal Secretary**

**£30,000**

**Stroud / Hybrid**

We are pleased to be working with a small, busy, and friendly in-house team managing all legal and corporate affairs, based in Stroud. They are looking for someone to join their legal team as a Legal Secretary with a broad range of responsibilities. Thisis a very diverse role, supporting the legal team in its work across the Group.

The successful Legal Secretary will be an efficient self-starter with an interest in a wide variety of legal work and the ability to adapt to an environment where no two days are the same.

As a Legal Secretary you will be passionate about wanting to make a difference, and about changing the way we live.

**Responsibilities**:

- Reviewing customer and supplier T&Cs and related documents and reporting your findings, and making changes
- Drafting and reviewing non-disclosure agreements, consultancy arrangements, contracts for services, and partnership/endorsement contracts from templates
- Helping to resolve complex queries and disputes, and drafting letters of claim
- Helping to gather and compile evidence for court proceedings
- Assisting the enforcement team with the recovery of debt
- Property portfolio support, including real estate and renewable energy assets
- Overseeing the group's intellectual property portfolio
- Registering trademarks and overseeing renewals

**Skills/ Experience**:

- A law degree and/or professional qualification in legal practice (legal executive or newly-qualified solicitor)
- Excellent written & verbal communication and time management skills
- Accuracy, tenacity, diplomacy & integrity
