An exciting opportunity has arisen with Board 24 to become an Operations Analyst Apprentice. This will be a varied & busy role providing a professional business analysis of product and raw materials, produce operational KPI’s and support the production customer sample, whilst acting as an interface between clients and colleagues.

**What will you be doing?**

Day-to-day activities include the following:

- Performing tasks in IT relevant to the organisation
- Exercise proactivity and good judgement
- Build and maintain positive relationships
- Develop good communication skills
- Completes tasks to a high standard
- Be able to plan and organise meetings, projects, and reports
- Comply with relevant regulations, laws, company policy and industry guidance
- Providing data and reports to site/senior management
- Support management of the site risk register
- Ensure a robust and effective health and safety management system is in place
- Carry out and maintain relevant site induction program for new starters
- Perform site inductions for visitors and contractors
- Manage the contractor compliance information storage

Full Assessment management, including but not limited to: training records, audits, competency, incidents, document management and SSoW
- Work with all levels of the business on developing compliance documents such as SSoW and risk assessments
- Reminders on compliance to management person responsible
- Manage fire marshals and first aiders training to ensure compliance

Employees are responsible and accountable for:

- Compliance with workplace policies and procedures for risk identification, risk assessment and risk control
- Active participation in activities associated with the management of workplace health and safety
- Identification and reporting of health and safety risks, accidents, incidents, injuries and property damage at the workplace

**Training and qualifications**

The apprenticeship consists of:

- Advanced Standard Apprenticeship - Business Administration
- Functional Skills in English and Maths (Level 1/2) where applicable

All aspects of your training will be delivered on-site with your employer, and you will have regular site visits every six to eight weeks from your designated assessor, who will monitor your progress throughout your apprenticeship programme.

You will achieve a qualification in Business Administration Level 3 Standard.

**Expected career progression**

The apprenticeship will start as a Business Administration level 3 and progress to a H&S qualification thereafter.
