Woodman & Son Funeral Directors in Biggleswade are looking for a compassionate, dedicated individual to join our team as a Mobile Funeral Service Arranger, working across our branch network covering holidays and sickness, to advise and support our families when arranging the funeral for a loved one. **What will you be doing?**

As a Mobile Funeral Service Arranger, you will be one of the very first points of contact for our families. You are going to be the coordinator that supports our families, arranges the funerals, and works alongside our teams to ensure that the funerals are delivered at the highest standard, whilst also meeting the personable requests of the families.
- You will create a welcoming, safe, and caring atmosphere for our families
- Arrange funerals according to Company guidelines ensuring that the full range of services and products are offered, thereby addressing the needs of the client
- Maintain excellent service to clients who telephone or call the branch
- Be available for clients to visit the deceased during office hours and out of hours by arrangement to company standards and guidelines
- Become trained to present our pre-paid funeral plans to our clients to the standard required by Dignity and the Financial Conduct Authority
- This is a mobile role, meaning you will act as a level of support to our funeral homes within the brand covering sickness, and holidays and also training to act in to support our Funeral Directors should the need arise.

**What Do I Need?**
- At least 2 years of work experience within a customer-orientated environment
- Proactive approach and ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people.
- Comfortable coming into contact with the deceased through the Chapel of Rest visits.
- Presentable always, acting with professional conduct and showing empathy.
- Excellent attention to detail is essential.
- A passion for customer service.
- A Full UK Driving Licence (ideally)

**What do you get?**
- An annual salary of £22,841.00 per annum
- Accruing 22 - 25 days holiday + bank holidays
- Sick pay eligibility after 12 month qualifying period
