We are a family business offering gaming in a welcoming and friendly atmosphere with a variety of traditional and state of the art machines and terminals. We have been in Hyde since 1960 and are looking for an arcade attendant to join us providing excellent service to our customers ensuring they have a great visit. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to progress to the role of keyholder following training.

**What you will be doing**
- Meeting and greeting customers
- Cash handling and managing float
- Providing drinks and light refreshments
- Keeping the venue clean and tidy
- Helping to maintain premises compliance
Briefly, the duties include giving change, serving food and drinks, providing information about the games, machines and gambling safety and keeping the premises clean. You will be taught the policies and skills required to uphold compliance and safety in a gaming environment.
**Who we are looking for**
As a small company, we work hard to create a safe and inviting atmosphere for our customers and employees so you will need to enjoy working closely with other people and be happy to work as part of a team. You should be able to work at a fast pace with accuracy and be approachable and pleasant. You will be required to be vigilant and alert and have good cash handling skills as you will be responsible for your own float and accurate change giving. Your role will be varied so you will have to be adaptable and willing to learn. Your working pattern, which includes weekends and bank holidays, will change weekly, so flexibility is essential.
**Previous Experience**
- Working in an arcade or the gaming sector would be an advantage
- Cash handling experience essential
- Must have experience of working in a customer facing role
The person we are looking for will need to have experience of working in a public facing role and providing customer service. They will also need to demonstrate that they have good numerical and cash handling ability and that they have used these skills in other employment. Previous keyholding responsibilities would be helpful
**Employment Information**
- Permanent employment following successful probation period
- Rota is worked over 7 days
- Monday - Saturday; Varied shifts between 9am and 8.30pm
- Sundays and bank holidays; 10am - 6pm
- Full/part time 3/4/5 days per week
- Variable hours
- Full training will be given
