Deployment Coordinator

Whitworth Pharmacy are offering an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team at our Support Office in Scunthorpe. Reporting to the Deployment Lead, you will be responsible for supporting Whitworth with delivery and operational excellence by means of cost-effective and efficient people deployment.
**What you will do**:
- Manage deployment of locums and company employed staff (e.g. locums, relief pharmacists etc.)
- Liaison point for the Support Team and pharmacy teams relating to people deployment.
- Support the company with recruitment and staffing needs.
- Keep up to date with regulatory and statutory requirements.
- Co-ordinate and deliver data to facilitate effective deployment of people.
- Support the Support Team in achieving targets.
- Motivate and encourage collaborative working to improve/deliver services.
- Understand other pharmacy operation influencing the company.
- Central point of contact for all people deployment activities.
- Take appropriate action to manage an emergency summoning assistance immediately when this is necessary.
**Business Performance**:
- Ensure effective communication between pharmacy and locum teams.
- To co-ordinate any new initiatives, launched to develop the business, e.g. find-my-shift etc.
- Manage locum bookings and facilitate employment appointments.
- Enter rotas and worked shifts into the appropriate system for locums, staff etc.
- Manage communication with other locum agencies to ensure all required processes and procedures.
- Work on a cross functional basis to develop, implement and add value through business improvement initiatives that support our company culture and values.
- Maintain an accessible register of locum/short-term team members and ensure access to necessary commencement paperwork has been completed.
**Building Relationships**:
- Coordination and support in staff recruitment, selection and onboarding processes.
- Ensure that strong relationships are built with our locum staff including building working relationships within pharmacies and locum communities to thoroughly understand their needs to help deliver customer satisfaction and retain customer loyalty in pharmacies.
- Investigate and resolve any locum and locum related complaints and implement any remedial measures required to avoid recurrence.

- Good working relationships internally and externally with colleagues and customers.
- Maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times.
- Takes responsibility for own personal development and takes an active part in learning opportunities.

- Identify opportunities for efficiency savings throughout the business relating to people deployment, as well as regulatory, corporate and professional.

- Saturdays, Sundays and outside normal contracted hours will be required for specific duties e.g. out-of-hours emergency rota, on call duties, branch forums, team meetings etc.
