**About the Company**

Our client is a Consumer Finance lending platform, backed by a leading alternative investor, selling to UK based companies. They work with several market leaders across the retail, healthcare, education and property sectors, including Purple Bricks, Lenovoand BMW. They provide flexible point-of-sale (POS) products to help consumers access products and services, enabling them to pay back the cost in a way that suits them. Their value proposition is increasing sales for partners, by providing a more attractivepoint of sale payment solution to customers.

**About the Opportunity**

The purpose of the role is to proactively monitor and deliver the product strategy to drive volume, revenue, margins, PBT delivery and customer experience KPI’s for products/segments under management.

You will look after the Retail POS Finance product portfolio. The focus will be 80% monitoring and delivering the product plan and P&L, leading execution and 20% developing new product/commercial variations. Experience in B2C or B2B2C lending will be required.

**Responsibilities**
- Shadow the assigned product/segment P&L, continually reviewing financial metrics, sales performance and client experience and proactively recommend interventions to drive incremental revenues, improve profitability and mitigate emerging market/financialrisks.
- Assist the Head of Product in defining the broader product strategy roadmap through a deep understanding and synthesis of emerging patterns of client, market and competitor activities.
- Design and lead execution for new product variations for products/sectors under ownership, managing the end-to-end process from concept ideation through to post launch review, following a customer-centric new product development framework.
- Identify and drive required changes/enhancements to current features, functionalities, channels, pricing and relevant documentation for products under management. Ensure adherence with Regulatory obligations, Product Governance frameworks and appropriateproduct lifecycle monitoring.
- Negotiate, help structure and proactively manage all commercial aspects of contracts with assigned partners/distributors.
- Highly analytical: have the ability to analyse, learn, and understand situations quickly and focus on the activities that matter the most.
- Growth oriented: have the appetite and ability to sustain and grow a dedicated product line, leading execution.
- Relationship builders: have the ability to create and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Customer centric: can evidence successful examples of ideating and executing on product/user/commercial interventions.
- Bias for action is paramount; not only bring to the table ideas or sound analysis of numbers but make sense of the numbers and then execute on commercial interventions.
- Ability to work with existing partners/distributors and also engage with new ones, structuring commercials and reflecting then on contracts with the help of legal counsel.
- Comfortable presenting ideas, analysis, concepts.
- Curious and inquisitive by nature, and want to understand how markets/products work and to come up with a better version by following a data-driven approach (test and learn)
- Be happy to help grow the business and create product processes/infrastructure at the same time (scale-up phase).

**Salary: £60,000 Plus Benefits**
