Due to our continued commitment in supporting people suffering with substance misuse problems, Change Grow Live are looking for a Programmes Facilitator to join our
**South West** prison service. Working at
**HMP Erlestoke **you will work in partnership with other healthcare providers and key prison stakeholders as part of an Integrated Health and Wellbeing model, enabling effective coordination of service user treatment and deliver psychosocial interventions as part of the Drug and Alcohol Recovery Service within the prison estate.

**When**:We’re looking to get the right person in the team ASAP Hours: 37.5hrs per week
**Salary***: £26,393 - £30,316 dependent on experience
**Responsibilities**:
**About the role**:
- Support service users from point of entry into the service and through their treatment/recovery journey
- Provide screening, assessment, and recovery planning and onward referral
- Deliver group-based interventions as well as providing 1:1 support for hard to engage service users, specifically those not groupwork ready
- Assess suitability for groups related to risk and special needs, working closely with prison partners to schedule attendance
- Provide a confidential, safe, and secure learning environment for service users to include where possible a therapeutic environment
- Promote carer, service user and community involvement
- Provide advocacy for access to partnership services
- Work with service users to support social (re)integration, enabling them to lead meaningful and purposeful lives: promoting recovery, resilience, peer support and self-determination
**About you**:
- Have a strong understanding of substance misuse issues and experience of working within a similar field - Experience of working within a prison/criminal justice setting would be an advantage
- Be an excellent communicator, both verbal and written with good IT skills
- Proactive and able to work on own initiative with excellent time management and prioritising skills
- Have a good working knowledge of mental health interventions, services, and good practice
- Be a supportive team player with strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in partnership with a wide range of professionals, agencies, and internal/external stakeholders
- Ability to manage change successfully in a way that prioritises the needs of service users
- Seek out learning opportunities to improve and broaden your professional knowledge and skills and to contribute and oversee the learning and development of others
