**About The Role**:
This role will be to coordinate the supply chain of materials and parts into, and material/part movement through, the business. Role scope is from order placement, material/part receipt and flow through stores up to end user or customer delivery. The role involves effective communication with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and other colleagues to achieve the required customer service levels for the business.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Co-ordinate the supply chain process of materials and parts into, and material/part movement through, the business.
- Maintain a safe, efficient, and organised stores area with knowledge of stock movements, locations, control, inventory count and re-ordering of material, parts, consumables or indirect/overhead items and services as required.
- For customer demands, generate material/part orders and schedules and obtain delivery into stock or directly to customer site.
- Monitor delivery information from suppliers including order acknowledgement, logging and expediting supplier deliveries.
- Create, process, amend and consolidate order requests where possible to achieve ultimate delivery quantities, including sorting out job numbers, checking inventory requests, service requests, box sale orders and credit card orders.
- Co-ordinate demands from order placement through delivery to end user including material movement and processing through the stores area.
- Fulfil picking of parts for kit-builds for delivery to factories for on-vehicle customers.
- Fulfil replenishment of van stock for on-vehicle engineers and facilitate any necessary returns.
- Control stock to the appropriate levels needed by the business cycle of demand.
- Process stock requests, repairs through the workshop, loan equipment requests and supplier material returns with any replacements needed for all areas of the business.
- Act as point of contact for material/part supply chain issues.
- Communicate with and feedback to internal stakeholders.
- Check and process invoice queries with Finance and Suppliers related to quantity or delivery issues.
- Ensure that all procurement activity is performed in a professional, ethical, and controlled manner in line with procurement policy and processes.

**Qualifications & Experience**

Previous experience in a similar role is required, but we are more importantly looking for someone that wishes to pursue a career in Supply Chain and further personal development.

Such verification should be taken in advance of the employment start date and the applicant will be unable to start in their role until this has been received by Synectics Security.
