Ark Wildlife Park is Lincolnshire’s newest and rapidly expanding wildlife park with a focus on exotic pet animal rescue, we are looking for an experienced zoo keeper to carry on driving forward the parks’ high standards of animal welfare and be a positive role model to others through demonstrated behaviours.

Helping to oversee the day to day running of the Ark wildlife park with a ‘hands-on’ operational approach you will supervise, support and assist the animal keeping team comprising apprentice zoo keepers and volunteers, ensuring best practice, compliance with Health and Safety regulations, developing animal enrichment programs and talking to the public during animal encounter presentations.

You will need to be hard working, physically fit, enthusiastic and reliable, and have had relevant zoo keeping experience plus proven people management skills and possess appropriate animal care qualifications.

Salary to be determined on experience

The position will include working 4 days per week, including every weekend, may increase to 5 days over summer.
