Who Lets Your Dog Out? Ltd has been operating in the Grantham Area for nearly 6 years and over the last few months we have seen a dramatic increase in requests for pet sitting in the pets own home to cover owners holidays.

Please note this role involves in staying in the clients home overnight.

We offer 2 levels of service:
Own Home Pet Sitting where the dog can be left home alone for a couple of hours at a time. Paid at £40 per day or part thereof.

Own Home Pet SItting where the dog can NOT be left home alone at all (most of these dogs suffer from severe separation anxiety). Paid at £55 per day or part thereof.

Pay for meet and greets with potential customers are paid at £11.50ph

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide in-home pet sitting services for clients
- Feed, water, and administer medication to pets as instructed by the owner
- Walk dogs and engage in playtime to ensure they receive proper exercise
- Clean litter boxes, cages, and other pet areas
- Monitor pets for any signs of illness or distress and report any concerns to the owner
- Provide basic grooming such as brushing and bathing
- Follow specific instructions provided by owners regarding pet care routines
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for the pets in your care

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in animal care or a related field is preferred
- Ability to handle and restrain animals of various sizes and temperaments
- Knowledge of basic pet first aid and CPR is a plus, all successful applicants will need to be able to prove or be willing to attend a level 2 Pet First Aid Course before their first sitting assignment
- Excellent customer service skills to interact with pet owners
- Strong communication skills to provide updates and report any issues to owners and business owner
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting and long walks with dogs
- Must own and drive their own vehicle and be prepared to transport the pet if needed. Ideally you will have a manual driving licence as this will allow you to use business vehicles if you are housesitting for large or multiple dogs.Business use will need to be added to your vehicle insurance.

**Job Type**: Zero hours contract

Pay: From £11.50 per hour

Expected hours: 1 - 20 per week
