Our client are seeking a Principal Designer / Cdm Advisor to join their expanding business out of their office is Leicester. The Principal Designer / Cdm Advisor will be working on an array of different projects within the Engineering, Highways, Surveyingand Environmental Sectors. The Principal Designer will be working on the preconstruction phase assisting with the client and principal contractor to coordinate the work of others in the project team

Principal Designer / Cdm Advisor will be preparing and submitting F10s, involved in design risk management and communicate with design teams to identify key hazards and identification and collation of preconstruction information. Additionally, the PrincipalDesigner will be tasked with managing the significant and foreseeable risks throughout the design process.

**Principal Designer / Cdm AdvisorPosition Overview**
- Providing advice and helping clients fulfil their CDM duties
- Preparing and submitting F10s
- Design risk management and communicate with design teams to identify key hazards
- Identification and collation of preconstruction information
- Liaison with the construction team to ensure that there is an ongoing exchange of health and safety information
- Preparation of health and safety files
- Assessment and preparation of construction phase health and safety plans
- Site health and safety inspections
- Preparation of method statements and risk assessments
- Assisting with asbestos surveys

**Principal Designer / Cdm AdvisorPosition Requirements**
- Degree qualified in construction and civil engineering disciplines
- NEBOSH general certificate
- Knowledge of risk assessments
- Knowledge of F10s
- Excellent communication skills
- Full UK driving license

**Principal Designer / Cdm AdvisorPosition Remuneration**
- Salary up to £45k
- Contributory pension scheme
- 25 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays. (Up to 30 days with service)
