**Job description**

Office Finance Manager required for a Property Company in the East Midlands. This person will take responsibility for the smooth running of the office and be responsible for resolving administrative issues that come up, relaying & reporting into a CompanyDirector. Company turnover £6m.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**_Financial_**
- Process contractor wages & communicate with accountants for payroll.
- Company utility management—multiple sites and suppliers.
- Company insurance management—multiple sites and suppliers.
- Basic banking knowledge - invoice processing.
- Manage payment process by ensuring all invoices & debit notes are created, signed off and paid on time.
- Back up the Property Administration staff, who are manging the Property Residential and Retail units. For example, debt management & H&S certification.

**_Administration_**
- Manage relationships and communication with local councils on matters like council tax, complaints, bin collections and other matters
- Manage relationships and communication with Certified Bodies and ensure certificate/training is up to date.

**_Other responsibilities_**
- In busy moments help Property Administrators out with management work as required.
- Support company Directors in their work.
- Proven experience of working within a similar role
- Have excellent oral and written English communication skills
- an excellent communicator at all levels including the ability to negotiate purchasing orders.
- Understand basic legal procedures, including filing small court claims for debt collection.
- Have excellent numeracy and MS Office (specifically Excel) and google spreadsheet skills and ideally have experience of book-keeping and financial management
- A great eye for detail and excellent organisational skills
- Be highly organised and effective at time-management
- Be a self-starter and excellent problem solver-- the ability to research unknown problems and self-learn how to solve them
- Be able to anticipate and determine staff and director needs to ensure greater efficiencies
- Can manage multiple projects in parallel and with competing deadlines
- Be able to work independently and manage own workflow and scheduling
- Be happy to get stuck in and get the job done, no matter what the task entails
- A passion to deliver first-class customer service
- Punctual and Reliable

**Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, self-employee**

- Finance or Accounting: 2 years (preferred)
- Administration: 2 year

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (preferred)
