Tote Washer

**Role Purpose**:
Reporting into the Hygiene Team Leader follow all the onsite hygiene schedules, working primarily in the Cooking and Tote wash area.
- Carrying out scheduled daily cleaning tasks / Ensuring all Totes are fully cleaned and disinfected to the trained standard.
- General GMP cleaning in the Tote wash/Cooking/Batching area

Supporting across all areas of the factory, responsible for ensuring that all the areas and equipment meet strict high standards of hygiene at all times.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Carry out scheduled daily cleaning tasks to the required standard in the time frame given.
- Clean areas as per CIC instruction card.
- Ensure the correct use of chemicals as highlighted in CIC card, using the methodology as instructed.
- Carry out post cleaning checks to make sure everything has been completed properly, as per points highlighted in CIC card
- Ensure hygiene is completed in line with H&S requirements.

**Knowledge Skills & Experience**:
Ideally you will have some experience of working as a Hygiene Operative however not essential as full training will be given. The role is ideal for someone with a high degree of self-motivation and initiative. Your communication skills will also need to be good in order both to understand the cleaning requirements and also to report any issues as they arise in a clear manner.
