**Responsibilities**:

- Construct, assemble, and repair various structures and components using a variety of materials and techniques
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements
- Measure, cut, shape, and fit materials to desired specifications
- Install and maintain roofs, including shingles, tiles, or metal sheets
- Weld metal components together to fabricate or repair structures
- Perform carpentry work such as framing, installing doors and windows, and building cabinets
- Install electrical wiring and fixtures according to local building codes
- Install plumbing systems and fixtures, including pipes, valves, and faucets
- Utilize power tools and hand tools to complete tasks efficiently and safely
- Fabricate concrete blocks or bricks for masonry work

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Builder or similar role
- Proficient in various construction techniques and methods
- Strong knowledge of roof installation, welding, carpentry, electrical work, plumbing, painting, masonry, and general construction practices
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Familiarity with power tools and hand tools commonly used in construction
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods of time
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team

**Job Type**: Temp to perm

**Salary**: £17.50-£18.32 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 48 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Performance bonus

**Experience**:

- Construction: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

- Billericay (required)

Ability to Relocate:

- Billericay: Relocate before starting work (required)
