We are looking for a dynamic individual who has a real can-do attitude and a genuine passion for cooking fabulous, nutritious meals for our residents.Your standards will be of the highest calibre and a knowledge of modified diets will be an advantage. Ideally, you will have a Level 2 in Food Hygiene and a willingness to complete your Level 3.In turn, you will work in a lovely, friendly Home, have ongoing support and training and be part of a journey to improve our Home. Uniform is provided by Hill Care. We also offer free-parking. **Duties**:

- Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients
- Cook and assemble dishes according to established recipes and guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
- Follow food safety protocols to ensure safe handling and storage of ingredients
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow
- Adhere to portion control standards to minimize waste
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation methods
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Flexibility to work weekends, and holidays as required
- Basic understanding of food safety principles and regulations
