Team Educate are recruiting for talented Teaching Assistants for an outstanding Special Needs School who want to make a real difference to the day-to-day learning of students.

This position will require collaborating with students individually or in small groups to assist in their educational journey. Your responsibilities will encompass fostering independence, facilitating choices, nurturing self-esteem, boosting confidence, and exploring vocational and employment opportunities while promoting positive behavior management. You will play a key role in creating an inclusive and hospitable learning environment and offering additional assistance, including personal care, mobility aid, support with daily routines, and communication aid as needed.

To excel in an ALN role, you should possess:

- Ideally, previous experience in an ALN setting or a background in caregiving
- An outstanding track record.
- The flexibility and adaptability to work both short-term and long-term assignments.
- Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- Dyslexia
- Dyspraxia
- Multi-Sensory Impairment (MSI)
- Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD)
- Profound and Moderate Learning Difficulties (PMLD)
- Emotional Behavioral Difficulties (EBD)
- Severe Learning Difficulties
- Physical Disabilities (PD)

**Salary**: £72.00-£85.00 per day

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Cardiff, CF10 2AS: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Special education: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
