**Salary**: £32,348 to £34,308 with progression to £42,155 per annum

The Role

This role has a specific international dimension, being focussed on a major high-profile development and delivery programme between the UK and China. You will be responsible for supporting the overall delivery of the Healthy Ageing Innovation Stream and helping ensure that it achieves not only its delivery targets but also its wider strategic objectives of developing a UK-China Healthy Ageing innovation ecosystem. This is a fixed term post until 31st January 2024, the post is part funded through the UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) Fund for International Collaboration (FIC), delivered by Innovate UK, part of UKRI.

Key Accountabilities
Demonstrating keen project management skills to deliver a range of activities and outputs to time, cost and quality
Deliver scoping and discovery sessions with clients to design citizen insights opportunities, with clear and achievable deliverables
Design interviews, workshops and surveys to gather citizen insights that explore the wants, needs and desires of potential users
Provide advice and design expertise for team members in China on the delivery of insights activities and consumer product testing
Carry out desk-based research, including landscape, literature and policy reviews Analyse, interpret and present complex data from a range of sources
Produce detailed outputs, reports and case studies that collate information from a variety of sources. Convey findings in a clear, engaging format suitable for business or public audiences Working closely with the China Project Manager, play a key role in developing the UK-China Ageing Innovation ecosystem, engaging with colleagues in the University, local and national businesses, representatives of funding agencies and Government departments, and innovation and academic partners in China Coordinate NICA’s involvement in the UK China Global Business Innovation Programme, acting as the project’s key contact for the UK delivery organisations Work with other team members to deliver a series of exhibitions, public events and dissemination activities, producing engaging and visual outputs through a variety of mediums
Provide content for marketing and communications staff in the preparation of media and press releases Responsible for the preparation of reports, presentations and other outputs, as required for internal and external clients You will be expected to work flexibly, focusing on the delivery of the Innovation Stream component of the UK-China Healthy Ageing Flagship Challenge - a joint
