Job Title: Psychology Teaching Assistant

Location: Enfield

We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Psychology Teaching Assistant to join our client's team and contribute to the growth and development of our students.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in Lesson Planning: Collaborate with Psychology teachers to develop engaging and effective lesson plans that align with the curriculum objectives.
- Classroom Support: Provide support during Psychology classes by assisting with demonstrations, experiments, and practical activities to enhance students' understanding of scientific concepts.
- Resource Preparation: Prepare and organize materials and resources needed for Psychology lessons, experiments, and projects.
- Individualized Support: Work with students on a one-on-one basis or in small groups to provide additional assistance, clarification, and reinforcement of Psychology concepts.
- Lab Assistance: Assist in setting up and managing Psychology laboratories, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and helping students with lab techniques.
- Technology Integration: Incorporate technology into Psychology lessons and activities to enhance learning experiences.
- Assessment Assistance: Support teachers in grading assignments, tests, and laboratory reports, providing constructive feedback to students.
- Behavioral Support: Assist in maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment, addressing student behavior, and promoting a culture of respect and cooperation.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field.
- Previous experience working in an educational setting, preferably as a teaching assistant.
- Strong understanding of Psychology concepts and the ability to effectively communicate them to students.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, students, and parents.
- Familiarity with educational technology is a plus.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
