Accountants Assistant

Our SME group of companies are recruiting an Accountants Assistant to join our small, friendly finance team.

We are looking for someone who is a confident all-rounder, a team player, and able to manage their working day efficiently. You will need to be flexible and be able to think on your feet when things change. A hands-on approach is essential as well as having an exceptional attention to detail.

Some of the duties and areas of responsibility will include but not limited too:

- Journal entries
- Bank reconciliations
- Purchase ledger
- Sales ledger
- Cash control
- Payroll processing
- Intergroup company accounts
- Liaison with Company Managers
- Plus other ad-hoc work

Key requirements:

- AAT qualifications or qualified by experience
- Experience in working in B2B sector
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Very good IT skills, experience of using Microsoft packages
- Sage Accounts experience
- Sage Payroll experience (beneficial)
- Ability to work independently
- Self-motivated
