CPL is delighted to partner with one of Ireland’s leading pharmaceutical companies to recruit a **Project Payroll Specialist**. Due to an upcoming Time & Attendance system transformation project, our client will require additional support in assisting with this transition.
Working in a team of 3, the Payroll Specialist will be responsible for conducting regular and timely testing on a new Time & Attendance system (Workday), whilst handling the accurate processing and recording of a 450+ person payroll, providing timely and accurate financial information, and supporting Payroll processing.
This will be a temporary requirement for approximately 6-9 months and will offer a hybrid working model during this time (3 days per week in the office (Cootehill, Co. Cavan), with 2 days from home).
**Duties will include**:
- Supporting the Payroll / IT team with systems testing during the implementation of new Time & Attendance system transformation project
- Processing and reconciliation of a weekly and monthly payroll for the business in a timely & accurate manner, in accordance with company regulations and required legislation
- Providing a proactive payroll advisory service, working closely with the payroll / HR team, business and IT team to improve processes and procedures, including responding to enquiries from employees and stakeholders in a timely and accurate manner.
**What you will need to succeed**:
- Experience in processing large volume payroll
- Competent in the use of Workday software (experience of Kronos will be beneficial)
- Strong MS Office skills with at least Intermediate Excel skills
- Excellent organization skills with ability to multi-task and exercise good judgment and confidentiality in all matters
- Ability to work well under pressure or time constraints
