**Job description**

We are looking for someone who would like to work as an ABA Therapist. Those with experience are preferable but those who **seriously** want to learn and commit to the role will also be considered.

Hours required:
Monday-Friday 9:00-12:00pm

**Summary**

You will work with a supportive team who will train you to deliver programmes to children and young adults with Autism. You will work closely with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst Consultant, educational providers and parents of the learner who is receiving therapy.

**General Responsibilities**:

- Implement a specific individualised, intensive ABA programme in a home based environment.
- Conduct 1:1 intensive teaching sessions under the direction of the BCBA consultant / supervisor.
- Effectively support the child in activities, at play to encourage appropriate behaviour consistent with the targets set out by BCBA consultant.
- Maintain a positive, professional relationship with all the team.
- Attend and contribute to the review meetings and fortnightly workshops/training.
- Ensure that data is collected & reported back to the BCBA Consultant.
- Prepare and organise the learning materials as necessary.

**Essential**:

- Minimum of one year experience of working with children with Autism
- Experience with children or young adults who have Autism
- Experience working with children or young adults with challenging behavior
- Must be **self-motivated**
- Must be **confident**
- Must be **resilient**
- Must be **reliable** and willing to commit to a long term position

**Desirable**:

- ABA Experience
