**A little bit about the Planned Works team**

We're responsible for delivering improvement and cyclical works across the entire operational area of Abri Group including Hampshire, Berkshire, West Sussex, Dorset & Wiltshire areas. Utilising both in-house teams and approved sub-contractors, we carry out the major improvement works to our customers’ homes ranging from kitchen renewals and bathroom replacements right through to roof replacement and insulation.

**What you'll do**

Are you pro-active, highly motivated, professional and friendly? Our team has an exciting opportunity for you to join us as our new Floor Layer where you'll be working around the Hampshire, Berkshire, West Sussex, Dorset & Wiltshire areas.

Your day to day will involve:

- Preparing and fitting vinyl to wet rooms.
- Preparing and fitting vinyl to kitchens and bathrooms
- Accurately measuring, preparing floors using latex or plywood and fit vinyl sheet flooring, safety flooring or vinyl tiles of our properties.
- Carrying out minor repairs to all types of floor coverings and eliminating any hazards so our customers remain safe in their homes.
- Working and assisting with our colleagues as and when required, ensuring that our customers always receive the best service.

You’ll be responsible for the delivery of various types of floor coverings within our kitchen and bathroom programmes.

Our customers are at the heart of everything we do, so it’s very important your customer service skills are top notch - we want to always go above and beyond and amaze our customers with the services we provide.

In this role, you’ll be an ambassador for the organisation by using your ‘can do’ attitude to provide a high-quality, ‘right first time’ service to our customers all while being the friendly face of Abri.

Abri is a large housing provider who own and manage over 50,000 homes and various community assets, serving 114,000 customers. Silva Homes joined Abri in October 2023 making the group a financially stronger and more resilient organisation. To help deliver our services Abri work with 36 local authorities and 63 different parliamentary constituencies alongside partners in our community.

Silva will operate as a separate legal entity under the Abri Group umbrella before fully transferring in 2024.
