Workshop Assistant

**You must be based in the UK to be considered**

We are looking for a reliable and organised engineering technician who is able to work autonomously. Necessary training will be provided.

**As an Engineering Technician you are expected to**:

- Assist with preparation of orders for customers;
- Assist in packing and unpacking of deliveries and shipments;
- Operate test equipment when requested;
- Inspect and assemble products using basic power tools such as electric screw drivers;
- Work with basic machinery conforming with health and safety standards;
- Keep the work place tidy and clean at all times;
- Assisting engineers;
- Assisting with stock management;
**Skills and knowledge required**:

- Practise manual assembly skills;
- Ability to work autonomously;
- High attention to details;
- Experience using power, compressed-air and hand tools in a safe manner;
- Good communication skills;
- Education in the engineering field is an advantage;
- Basic understanding of mechanics is an advantage;
- Basic understanding of electronics is an advantage

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From £25,000.00 per year
