**Planner/Scheduler**

Valcomm (VQS Ltd) are a specialist pharmaceutical support company that prides itself on the friendly and welcoming environment within the workplace. We are seeking a proficient and detail-oriented Work Scheduler to manage the daily schedules of our team of Engineers, for our fast-growing business based in Wickford, Essex. This could be on a full-time or part-time basis.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Managing workflow for all current/upcoming work, assigning to employees as appropriate and maintain the work tracking system.
- Scheduling of internal and client calibration requirements (based on due dates from the tracking systems).
- Communicate schedules clearly to all team members, ensuring that they understand their assignments and any special instructions.
- Monitor progress of work assignments and make necessary adjustments to the schedule in response to delays, changes in personnel availability, or emergencies.
- Ensure that engineers are recording the relevant closure information and making contact to correct where necessary.
- Coordinate with management to understand workforce availability, job requirements, and any other factors that may affect scheduling.
- Manage any schedule-related communications with clients, such as confirming appointments or notifying them of changes.

**Qualifications**:.
- Previous experience in scheduling desired.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and respond to changing situations effectively.
- Excellent IT skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and make decisions quickly.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to anticipate scheduling issues before they occur.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £24,000.00-£25,000.00 per year

- Monday to Friday
