**About the role**

We have an exciting opportunity to join the Wastewater Strategy Team as a Technical Policy Advisor.

This role will give you the opportunity to support the development of wastewater strategies and plans, including supporting technical strategies, detailing intervention options and benefits to deliver on our business objectives.

You’ll be involved in horizon scanning for innovative solutions, technical research outputs and advances in technologies that support the efficient delivery of our business objectives and ambitious goals.

We’re looking for you to be supporting the strategic planning team through administration of technical documentation, data gathering and analysis, along with engaging with the right stakeholders in the development of strategies and plans so they are supported, endorsed and actionable by operations, investment delivery teams and partners.

**About you**

As this is an undergraduate role, we’re not looking for you to have proven work experience, but we are looking for you to be studying for a degree or have recently graduated. You’ll have the ability to analyse and understand data sourced from multiple systems to provide evidence base for decisions and actions. We’re looking for you to ability to demonstrate a collaborative approach and be able to influence others to reach agreement and achieve business improvement and change.

You’ll have great organisational skills to manage multiple projects and resilience to deliver deadlines in pressurised environments, along with having strong communication and influencing skills working with internal stakeholders including peers, senior leaders and team members and external stakeholders where required.
