Duties will include:

- Operate the practice software (Dentally)
- Answering the telephone and deal with patient enquiries in an efficient, positive and friendly manner
- Receive patients and visitors in a prompt, friendly professional manner
- Notify Clinicians of the patient's arrival
- Schedule patient appointments in accordance with practice policies and keep records of all appointments.
- Operate the practice recall system
- Prepare day sheets for each Clinician
- Collect and record patient payments and pursue any debts in accordance with the practice payments policy
- Liaise with dental laboratories, suppliers and organisations and record laboratory work in and out of the practice
- Deal with patient feedback in an appropriate manner and feed back to the practice manager about patient comments and complaints
- Support the sales of dental sundries to patients and ensure patients are provided the patients advice on the appropriate sundries for the their dental health to successful sale
- Manage the appointment book effectively to ensure targets are met
- Keep the reception are clean, tidy and welcoming
- Engage conversation with patients to ensure they feel at ease
- Attend regular weekly reception meetings
- Follow all policies in line with CQC requirements
- Act confidentially
- Speak up if things go wrong
- Ensure the environment is safe

**Working Pattern - Part-Time Working/Job Share Considered**

**36.5 HOURS PER WEEK OVER 4 DAYS**
- Monday - 8am-5:30pm
- Tuesday - 8am-7pm
- Wednesday - OFF
- Thursday - 8am -7pm
- Friday - 8am-5pm

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £11.45 per hour
