A wonderful opportunity has become available for Residential Children’s Support Workers to join a small independent company on the outskirts of Kingsbury, Warwickshire.

This children’s home provider was set up by experienced social workers and has been successfully providing excellent care and support to young people for nearly 20 years.

The children’s residential home is a 4 bed home for young people are aged 10 to 17 years and have suffered childhood trauma, exploitation, or abuse.

As a Residential Children’s Support Worker you will be working within a children’s residential service as a Residential Childcare Worker you will provide advice, assistance, and support to young people. You will tend to their practical, physical, and emotional needs, and act as an appropriate role model and to work closely with them to enable them to address their difficulties and achieve their optimum potential.

You will be passionate about working with young people and making a difference to their lives.

In return you will be offered a competitive salary with great working hours allowing you to enjoy your time off. You will also receive a £1000 bonus at Christmas. You will receive training and will be offered the chance to become a qualified children’s residential support worker by completing a Diploma in Children’s residential. There will be genuine opportunity to progress within the role.

Salaries;
Unqualified RSW £27,492 (inc sleep ins & £1000 annual bonus)

Qualified RSW £28,467 (inc sleep ins & £1000 annual bonus)

Senior RSW £31,938 - £33674 ( inc sleep ins & £1000 annual bonus and depending on qualification)

A Diploma in Children's residential is also preferable. It is essential for the qualified and senior roles.

Car drivers are essential because this beautiful home is in a semi-rural location, near Kingsbury water park, with very limited access to public transport.

You must be able to work FULL TIME on a rota basis, and be able to work shifts that will include sleep ins and some weekends.

Pay: £27,500.00-£33,600.00 per year
