Over the last 35 years, The CGM Group has grown into the region’s leading Grounds Maintenance company. We provide a wide and varied range of services including Grounds Maintenance, Horticulture, Arboriculture, and Landscaping, to both public and private sector clients.

We are looking to recruit a Grounds Maintenance Team Leader for our South East region, more specifically, Hemel Hempstead, and surrounding areas. You will be achieving high standards for the maintenance of a variety of sites. Previous Grounds Maintenance Experience Desirable.

This role is being offered on a full-time, permanent basis. Hours of work are up to 40 hours per week between the hours of 7am to 5pm Monday to Friday.

What you'll be doing...
- Supporting the Assistant Manager to ensure that the team members operating on the rounds for which you are responsible, leave for the site in a prompt and well-presented manner.
- Communicate to your teams the daily tasks they must undertake to ensure that the program is met. Working with them to identify any potential problems and ensure that they are aware of any site-specific information they may need.
- Lead your teams by acting in a professional manner at all times, ensuring you are on time, communicating appropriately and in a non-offensive manner, and demonstrating the correct use of the H&S procedures.
- Continually looking for innovative solutions to improve systems of work.
