**The role**
Are you naturally curious with a keen eye for detail?
Our Intelligence Analysts collect all available information through ERS business systems and key suppliers to validate claims and detect fraud. They conduct investigations, analyse daily data for patterns, and manage fraud risk effectively. By gathering intelligence and information through ERS business systems and key suppliers, they validate claims and identify fraud. They report their findings and use this intelligence to recommend strategies to improve or protect ERS Claims Indemnity spend.
**Key responsibilities**
- Investigate and gather intelligence by analysing matches daily to refer potential fraudulent claims into the Claims Validation Team
- Analyse data from referrals and quality audits to contribute to and deliver technical and process improvement initiatives to continually build operational and technical capability.
- Utilise all available resource from intel systems to complete intelligence and profiling enquiries. Uncover information which helps ERS protect innocent customers and manage its Fraud Risk effectively.
- Identify threats and opportunities in the market and external environment.
- Take ownership of understanding our complaints reporting requirements with 100% adherence. Zero tolerance of late notified complaints. - Deliver training across the business.
- Act as a point of reference to guide, mentor and advise others to ensure the sharing of knowledge and best practice.
**Essential qualifications, skills, and experience**
- In depth experience of working in a motor claims environment.
- Good knowledge and understanding of liability and indemnity.
- Good knowledge and understanding of fraud indicators.
- Knowledge of excel, word and PowerPoint.
- Understanding of the purpose and remit of the IFB and IFED.
- Current knowledge of compliance, regulatory and statutory requirements
